Amro Ayman Alhadad, 23, was injured by a bullet on May 14, 2018 while at the Great March of Return. Just fifteen minutes after he arrived to the protest with his friends from school, he was shot in the leg.

“I found escape in drawing," Amro says when describing his life after his amputation. “I watch online videos and have taught myself to be an artist.”
